Welcome to Fey Publishing
We bring new talent to light.
Our mission is to produce quality books that are a bit different from the mainstream. We push boundaries aside and aim for something unique, unexpected and completely unforgettable.
You will notice that there are different sections to our site, and there will be more as we continue to grow. Our catalog is currently split into three separate and distinct categories.
Dark Fey contains our collection of books of a darker nature. These fall under the horror, dark science fiction, fantasy and speculative fiction genres. Classic Fey encompasses a different range and style of books from heart-warming stories to non-traditional romance. Young Fey is our newest brand, and it's focus is on quality Young Adult and Middle-Grade fiction. Whatever your reading preferences, you can rest assured that a good story and great writing can be found in any of our three brands.
We are currently accepting submissions for Dark Fey as well as a few other projects in the works. Please see our submissions page for more details.
Fey Publishing is currently owned by one woman who has turned her lifelong passion into a full-time job and career. We've recently added a small staff of professional editors to help put out the best books possible. As a small publishing house that looks to discover new talent, your support is greatly appreciated. Thank you for stopping by.

Frankie Teardrop by Bill Kte'Pi
Frank Train was born restless, the grandson of cowboys and tumbleweeds, the kind of guy who got into fights because he was bored and got drunk because he was awake. Family settled him down, but now, in the space of a few months, Frank's lost his parents, his wife, and two of his children in a series of bizarre tragedies, each of which is marked with the same strange symbol. The only survivors are his son Ricky and his prodigal brother, each of whom battles the same kind of demons Frank has carried with him all his life. That symbol though, Frank's seen it before. On Halloween night, the scarecrow at the crossroads came to life and offered him a deal, and that was what started it all. Now time's running out as Ricky becomes stranger and stranger and Frank struggles to discover just what the scarecrow took from him -- and what he has coming in return.

Messiah of the Slums by Charlotte Pickering
![]() |
Shriveton, a 21st century sink estate on the outskirts of Liverpool, is controlled by the Incubo, a global drug lord. Corrupt law enforcement, endemic unemployment and social fragmentation have made it a fertile land for unfettered criminality. For decades, the Shriveton people have put up, and shut up, because to challenge the status quo is fatal. The Incubo is the only employer in the area, and the only way out for his soldiers, mostly recruited as primary-school boys, is death. But rumours have sprung up about a mysterious and always solitary, young Muslim woman. She is defiant in the face of the evil all around, and seen variously as a friend of the friendless, healer of the sick, priestess, saint, lover, saviour and god incarnate. The revolution she sparks is characterised by savagery, bewilderment and outrageous acts of mercy. Told through the eyes of Shriveton’s radicals, dealers, prostitutes, users and kingpins, Messiah of the Slums is her story.

Happily Never After Anthology
Happily ever after is a thing of the past. As long as there are children in the world, there will be fairy tales.
Since the dawn of time, parents have passed down legends and stories to their children, and parents will probably continue telling these stories until the end of time. Of course, the fairy tales of tomorrow won't be the same stories of today. What will these tales of the future be like? Well, there will be dragons, though they may be robotic dragons created to capture a “princess” in a war-torn world. There will obviously be queens, witches, and frog princes, though not like any you've seen before. And of course, as with any fairy tale, there will be magic and mayhem galore. Forget happily ever after... This is Happily Never After - where dystopian science fiction meets the fairy tales of days gone by. Available at Amazon. |
